bismillah

AAasa Allahu an yajAAala baynakum wabayna allatheena AAadaytum minhum mawaddatan wa(A)llahu qadeerun wa(A)llahu ghafoorun raheem(un)

Allah-SWT may perhaps place affection between you and those whom you hold as enemies. And Allah-SWT is Potent, and Allah-SWT is Forgiving, Merciful.

(60:7)

La yanhakumu Allahu AAani allatheena lam yuqatilookum fee a(l)ddeeni walam yukhrijookum min diyarikum an tabarroohum watuqsitoo ilayhim inna Allaha yuhibbu almuqsiteen(a)

Allah-SWT does not forbid you to deal benevolently and equitably with those who did not fight against you on account of religion nor drove you out from homes; verily Allah-SWT loves the equitable.

(60:8)

Innama yanhakumu Allahu AAani allatheena qatalookum fee a(l)ddeeni waakhrajookum min diyarikum wathaharoo AAala ikhrajikum an tawallawhum waman yatawallahum faolaika humu a(l)ththalimoon(a)

It is only concerning those who fought against you on account of religion and drove you out from your homes and helped in driving you out, that Allah-SWT forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then these are the wrongdoers.

(60:9)

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha jaakumu almuminatu muhajiratin faimtahinoohunna Allahu aAAlamu bieemanihinna fain AAalimtumoohunna muminatin fala tarjiAAoohunna ila alkuffari la hunna hillun lahum wala hum yahilloona lahunna waatoohum ma anfaqoo wala junaha AAalaykum an tankihoohunna itha ataytumoohunna ojoorahunna wala tumsikoo biAAisami alkawafiri wa(i)saloo ma anfaqtum walyasaloo ma anfaqoo thalikum hukmu Allahi yahkumu baynakum wa(A)llahu AAaleemun hakeem(un)

O’ you who believe!   When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah-SWT is the Best Knower of their faith. Then if you ascertain that they are believers, then do not send them back to the infidels; they are not lawful to them, nor are they lawful to them, and give them what they have spent. Nor is it a crime if you wed them when you have paid their wages. And do not hold to the ties of the infidel women, and ask back what you have spent, and let them ask back what they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah-SWT , He-SWT judges between  you.  And   Allah-SWT is Knowing, Wise.

(60:10)

Wain fatakum shayon min azwajikum ila alkuffari faAAaqabtum faatoo allatheena thahabat azwajuhum mithla ma anfaqoo wa(i)ttaqoo Allaha allathee antum bihi muminoon(a)

And if any of your wives has been left with the infidels and you have retaliated, then give to those whose wives have gone away the like of what they have expended, and fear Allaah-SWT in Whom you believe.

(60:11)

Ya ayyuha a(l)nnabiyyu itha jaaka almuminatu yubayiAAnaka AAala an la yushrikna bi(A)llahi shayan wala yasriqna wala yazneena wala yaqtulna awladahunna wala yateena bibuhtanin yaftareenahu bayna aydeehinna waarjulihinna wala yaAAseenaka fee maAAroofin fabayiAAhunna wa(i)staghfir lahunna Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheem(un)

O’ Prophet-SW ! When believing women come to you-SW for taking Oath of Allegiance, that they shall not associate anything with Allah-SWT , nor they shall steal, nor they shall commit fornication, nor they shall slay their children, nor they shall produce any falsehood that they have fabricated between their hands and feet, nor shall they disobey you-SW in anything reputable, then accept you-SW their oath, and pray to Allah-SWT for their forgiveness. Verily Allah-SWT is Forgiving, Merciful.

(60:12)

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tatawallaw qawman ghadiba Allahu AAalayhim qad yaisoo mina alakhirati kama yaisa alkuffaru min ashabi alquboor(i)

O’ you who believe! Do not make friends with people who incurred the Wrath of Allaah-SWT.Surely they have despaired of the Hereafter, as despaired are the infidels buried dead.

(60:13)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Allah-SWT is Absolute and is capable of raising your friends from among your foes by blessing some of them with faith. He-SWT is Beneficent and Merciful.

The Nature of Association with Infidels

Those infidels, who do not pose threat to Muslims or Islam, do not participate in wars against them and in ruining their houses, and also have no role in expelling them from their abodes, should be treated kindly They are entitled to benefit from the welfare programmes in an Islamic Welfare State, as its citizens. And the believers should be fair and just to all for Allaah-SWT likes the just. He-SWT forbids associations with those who wage war upon Muslims, wreck their homes and expel them because they are Muslims, though justice ought to be done to all.

The United States, the West and the Muslims

An intimate friendship or trade with infidels that promotes their strength, against Muslims, is forbidden. Most of the contemporary Muslim States and Muslim tycoons have their financial assets in the U.S. or other Western countries. This wealth strengthens them and they use it to destroy Muslims in a number of ways, which indeed is a callous attitude on the part of Muslims.

How to Treat the Migrating Muslim Wives of Infidels?

Some Muslim ladies reached Madinah from Makkah after the Hudaibiah Peace Pact Their husbands, who were non Muslims until then, came after them and demanded their return referring to the Pact. The Holy Prophet-SW explained that the concerned clause in the Pact pertained only to men, and as such they were not to be returned. It was then that the Muslims were commanded to investigate the claims made by immigrating women about their faith and migration in the name of Islam. Only Allaah-SWT Knows the ultimate truth, but if Muslims were convinced that they had embraced Islam, they were not to turn them over to the infidels. Such a woman is no longer legitimate for her infidel husband, nor he for her. However, the money that he had given her in Mehr should be refunded. Thereafter, a Muslim is permitted to marry her.

Deduction

If an infidel's wife embraces Islam and migrates to Dar-al-Islam, her wedlock is nullified. She can now marry a Muslim. The Mehr that she had received from her infidel husband would be refunded and her Muslim husband would pay Mehr afresh. Though Mehr is not a pre requisite for Nikah, yet it is mandatory. On the other hand, if a Muslim's wife continues in disbelief, her wedlock is also revoked. She may be allowed to join the non believers, but the Mehr given to her must be refunded by them. Refund of Mehr is the responsibility of the elders or the State on both sides. Matrimony with the infidels was abolished after this revelation.

Marriage with People of the Book

The People of the Book are those who though did not embrace Islam yet their beliefs conformed to the Divine Books preceding the Quran. The contemporary Jews and Christians repudiate their Books despite making countless distortions and alterations in them. Marrying their woman is, therefore, improper.

Dar-al-Islam

An infidel's Muslim wife upon reaching Dar-al-Islam, or a Muslim's disbelieving wife residing therein, is absolved of wedlock. It is necessary for them to return the Mehr. It is indeed deplorable that Pakistan is not Dar-al-Islam yet. When the British came to power in the subcontinent and Islamic systems were repealed, the erudite Muslim jurists issued a verdict declaring this region as Dar-al-Harb. The British quit India long ago but their systems stick todate and as such the verdict also stays valid.

Allah-SWT the Knowing and the Prudent does justice to all and, therefore, orders the two sides to return the Mehr. If the infidels defy this Injunction, Muslims would also be justified in stopping the payment due on this account. Such forfeited money would be paid to those Muslims whose money the non believers have refused to pay back. Justice must be upheld in all such decisions, bearing Allah-SWT ’s Majesty in mind. An Oath of Allegiance may be taken from the women who embrace Islam on the condition that they would no longer engage in polytheism, theft and adultery, would not murder their off springs or falsely accuse someone, would obey the Holy Prophet-SW and would try their best to avoid all sinful acts. Allah-SWT is indeed Forgiving and Merciful, so the Holy Prophet-SW may pray to Him-SWT for their emancipation.

Bai't for Women

The Divine Command on women b'ait is available and is proved from the Holy Prophet-SW though the procedure is that their hands are not held for taking a bai't, as in case of men. The Holy Prophet-SW never touched a non Mahram woman throughout his-SW life.

A Form of Damnation

O’ Muslims! Why befriend people condemned by Allah-SWT , who are as hopeless about Akhirah as the dead non believers. When they die, they shall discover that there is nothing for them there save His-SWT Wrath. Therefore, if someone has no fear of the Akhirah, it is an indication that Allah-SWT is annoyed with him.
